2017 State Tournament in Bozeman July 25-30
With 10 teams in the Montana-Alberta Class AA division, eight teams vye for berths into the state tournament by playing the nine other teams twice. After the 18-game regular season schedule, the top 8 teams advance to the state tournament in Bozeman from July 26-30. In the opening round, the No. 1 team with play No. 8; No. 2 will play No. 7; No. 3 will play No. 6; and the Nos. 4-5 teams will play each other.

The state champion and Missoula will advance to the 2017 Northwest Regional in Missoula, starting on Aug. 2. The regional champion will advance to the World Series in Shelby, N.C., the following week. The World Series will be broadcast on the ESPN network of channels.
